Joshua Tree
Joshua Tree National Park covers some 3,200 square kilometres where the higher Mojave Desert meets the lower Colorado Desert, a country of monzogranite boulders and the spiky yuccas that give the park its name. Mormon settlers crossing the Mojave in the mid-1800s are often credited with naming the Joshua tree after the biblical leader, though no record from the time confirms the story. People have lived here for millennia, from the Pinto Culture of 8000 to 4000 BCE to the Serrano, Cahuilla and Chemehuevi. Conservationist Minerva Hamilton Hoyt campaigned hard for protection, and in 1936 President Franklin Roosevelt proclaimed a national monument; it became a national park in 1994. The high point, Quail Mountain at 1,773 m (5,816 ft), crowns the Little San Bernardino Mountains, which line the park's southwest edge.

Our solid hardwood cribbage boards are modeled with actual topographic data to capture any place on earth. Each board has a storage space for three sets of metal pegs behind a custom-etched stainless steel door. Boards measure roughly 350mm (13.5”) long by 190mm (7.5") wide by 90mm (3.5”) tall and are finished with tung oil for durability and a slight sheen. Additional options include a custom message or logo etched on the stainless steel door tag (32 characters max, +$10), and an engraved name, message or logo on the side or underside of the board (+$20 standard, +$40 with a contrasting filler). Side and underside engraving is sized to fit the board, typically no taller than 1 inch (25 mm). For a logo, send us a PNG through our contact form after you order, with your order number.
Our products are designed, crafted, and finished in Alberta, Canada.
Disclaimer: Because we use solid hardwood, some boards may have natural imperfections.
