Sciliar-Catinaccio
Two famous Dolomite skylines share this corner of South Tyrol. The Schlern, or Sciliar, stands over the villages of Seis and Völs, its silhouette so familiar that it has become a regional emblem. Nearby rises the Rosengarten, or Catinaccio, whose name comes from the tale of King Laurin and his enchanted rose garden; at dusk the pale rock glows red to violet, the effect known as enrosadira. Its highest summit, the Kesselkogel, reaches 3,002 m, and the slender Vajolet Towers stand among its spires. Both massifs are built of dolomite, the petrified remains of reefs that grew in a tropical Triassic sea, and in 2009 the Dolomites were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The nature park that protects much of the area was founded in 1974.

Our solid hardwood cribbage boards are modeled with actual topographic data to capture any place on earth. Each board has a storage space for three sets of metal pegs behind a custom-etched stainless steel door. Boards measure roughly 350mm (13.5”) long by 190mm (7.5") wide by 90mm (3.5”) tall and are finished with tung oil for durability and a slight sheen. Additional options include a custom message or logo etched on the stainless steel door tag (32 characters max, +$10), and an engraved name, message or logo on the side or underside of the board (+$20 standard, +$40 with a contrasting filler). Side and underside engraving is sized to fit the board, typically no taller than 1 inch (25 mm). For a logo, send us a PNG through our contact form after you order, with your order number.
Our products are designed, crafted, and finished in Alberta, Canada.
Disclaimer: Because we use solid hardwood, some boards may have natural imperfections.
