Random peak, random defect. Our AS-IS boards have 121 peg holes and our standard pin pocket with a stainless steel door (engraved with 'Mt. Cribb'), but beyond that there are no gaurantees. 
 
Common 'defects' you might find are a larger-than-normal knot in the wood, a small crack on the end of a board, or an edge that was chipped in the manufacturing process and needed some extra sanding down. Imperfect stain application or discoloration are also not uncommon prompts for us to pull these boards from our usual distribution. 
 
If you're not picky about the board you get, and don't mind the odd oddity, these boards are a steal of a deal!
